We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Intruder Alarm Security Engineer to join their growing engineering team.
The role will primarily focus on the installation, servicing, fault finding and maintenance of intruder alarm systems. CCTV experience is highly desirable, with access control experience an advantage.
You will work across a variety of customer sites, both independently and alongside other engineers, delivering a professional, efficient and high-quality service. Full training will be provided on our client's specialist software, alongside ongoing training and development.
Systems Experience
Key Responsibilities

Install, service and maintain intruder alarm systems

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs

Commission new systems to customer and industry standards

Assist with CCTV installation, servicing and fault finding

Support access control installation and maintenance

Maintain excellent customer relationships

Participate in the on-call rota

Stay away overnight when required

Maintain high standards of health and safety and workmanship
Requirements
-
Proven experience installing, servicing and fault-finding intruder alarm systems

Strong knowledge of Texecom, Pyronix, Ajax and/or Galaxy
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Willingness to participate in the on-call rota

Flexibility to stay away overnight when required

Ability to successfully pass BS7858 Security Screening

CCTV and access control experience would be advantageous
