Site Agent – Infrastructure / Earthworks
Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a major infrastructure scheme in Didcot, working for a well-established main contractor.
This is a key site-based role with a particular focus on earthworks and civil engineering, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of works and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and resources.
The Role

Take responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of earthworks and associated civil engineering activities.

Manage site operations, ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget and required quality standards.

Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials and resources.

Monitor progress and productivity, identifying and addressing any issues that could impact the programme.

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Review RAMS, permits, inspection records and other project documentation.

Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives.

Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates.

Assist with planning, sequencing and short-term programming of works.
About You
-
Previous experience as a Site Agent / Sub Agent on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.

Strong experience within earthworks is essential.

Good understanding of site operations, construction methodology and sequencing.

Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.

Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality requirements.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

CSCS, SMSTS and relevant site qualifications.
