HGV Class 2 Skip Driver
Location: London, SW19
Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 5:15pm
Optional Saturday Overtime: 6:30am – 1:00pm
About the Role
Simple Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with optional Saturday overtime.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential customer sites.

Transport waste safely and dispose of materials in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.

Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.

Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.

Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

Comply with all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures.

Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle.
Requirements

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

Valid Driver CPC Qualification.

Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous skip driving experience is essential.

Good knowledge of driver hours and road traffic regulations.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Good communication and customer service skills.
What We Offer

£19.00 per hour.

Monday to Friday working pattern.

Day shifts: 6:30am – 5:15pm.

Optional Saturday overtime (6:30am – 1:00pm).
