Our client specialises in vehicle and plant repairs, maintenance and fleet management. They partner with some of the UK's most recognised names. They are currently recruiting for a qualified (nvq 3 essential) and experienced Workshop Vehicle Technician, based in London E16. Mainly working on light commercial vehicles. This is a small workshop and can be a standalone role
Responsibilities:

Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work.

Discussing required repairs with admin team and customers.

Calculating the expected time for repairs.

Repairing or replacing components as required.

Road testing vehicles to test repair work or diagnose.

Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including parking sensors, cameras, towbars and reverse cameras.

Performing service and vehicle system safety checks.

Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension and diagnostics as required.

Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

To carry out quality checks on all technician's work and discuss findings.

When requested visit off site locations and carry out safety guidelines are adhered to both personal and team health and well-being is kept in mind.

Other duties as assigned.
Monday to Friday full time permanent role. Basic salary up to £41,000 per annum and after successful probationary period you then become eligible for their quarterly bonuses.
