Red Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Toolroom Technician to join a busy manufacturing business based in the B64 area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual to join an established team, working within a busy toolroom environment and producing precision tooling for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Machining cutters ready for use on production machinery

Assembling cutter blocks
-
Producing bespoke cutters from plans and engineering drawings
-
Using workshop machinery and tooling equipment
-
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required standard

Carrying out quality checks on finished tooling

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
-
Supporting the wider production and toolroom teams as required
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in a toolroom, engineering, machining or similar technical role is advantageous

Experience working from engineering drawings and plans
-
Good attention to detail and a thorough approach to work

Strong practical and mechanical aptitude
-
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
-
Positive and reliable attitude
-
Able to work effectively as part of a team
