We're looking for skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to join our Sheffield-based workshop on a permanent basis. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability and compliance of a modern fleet of commercial vehicles, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs and trailers.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.

Interpret instructions from job cards and repair orders, completing all work accurately and efficiently.

Conduct vehicle inspections, defect reporting and MOT preparation.

Accurately record work completed, tests carried out and parts used.

Immediately report any additional work required or vehicle faults identified.

Maintain allocated work areas in a clean, safe and tidy condition.

Attend training courses and stay up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and manufacturer updates.

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and health and safety standards.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair techniques.

A Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
