We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer with hands-on experience in CO₂ systems to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to expand their expertise, as full training will be provided in ammonia (NH₃) refrigeration systems.
You’ll be working on a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Install, service, maintain, and repair CO₂ refrigeration systems

Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations

Accurately complete service reports and documentation

Participate in on-call rota (if applicable)

Undertake training and development in ammonia refrigeration systems
Requirements

Proven experience working with CO₂ refrigeration systems

Relevant refrigeration / HVAC qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)

F-Gas certification (essential)

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Full UK driving licence

Willingness to learn and develop ammonia refrigeration skills
Desirable (Not Essential)

Previous experience with ammonia (NH₃) systems

Electrical qualifications or strong electrical knowledge
