School Administrator - Liverpool
£17.50-£18.50 per hour | ASAP Start | Initially until Christmas
We are currently seeking an experienced School Administrator to join a busy school in Liverpool, starting ASAP on an initial assignment through to Christmas, with the potential for extension.
The successful candidate will have previous school-based administrative experience and be confident working across a range of front-office and pupil administration duties.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing effective day-to-day administrative support to the school
Managing the school reception and front of house, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors
Maintaining accurate attendance records and following up on attendance matters
Supporting SEND administration, maintaining records and liaising with relevant staff and external agencies
Assisting with safeguarding administration, ensuring records are maintained accurately and confidentially
Handling general correspondence, phone calls, emails and enquiries
Maintaining pupil and school records in line with confidentiality and data protection requirements
Supporting the wider school office team with general administrative duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will have:
Essential: Previous experience working in a school environment
Strong understanding of school administration and safeguarding procedures
Experience with SEND administration
Experience managing attendance and pupil records
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A professional, approachable and calm manner
The ability to work effectively in a busy school environment
