We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and conscientious School Cleaner to join a friendly school team in Richmond upon Thames, South West London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, communal areas and other designated areas to a high standard.

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting floors and surfaces.

Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely and appropriately.

Cleaning and sanitising high-touch areas and frequently used facilities.

Replenishing cleaning materials and reporting low stock when required.

Following school cleaning schedules, health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.

Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person.

Ensuring cleaning equipment and products are stored safely after use.

Working respectfully around pupils, teachers, support staff and visitors.

Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the school.
About You
The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude and good attention to detail. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly within a school, educational or commercial environment, although full training may be provided for the right candidate.
You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team and be able to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures. A commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and maintaining a professional environment is essential.
