A specialist SEN school in Maidenhead is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors, Therapists, Mental Health Practitioners, or Teachers.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of mental health, emotional, and additional needs.
Support students with their emotional wellbeing, confidence, resilience, and self-regulation.
Help students develop positive coping strategies and engage positively with learning and school life.
Build trusting and supportive relationships with students, providing encouragement and reassurance throughout the school day.We're looking for a Mental Health Assistant who is:
