Our client requires a part time cleaner to work at their leading AD Plant, based in Rushden. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 07:30am to 09:30am, and is due to run through until March 2027, with the chance to extend.
The hourly rate is £12.71 per hour
Office Cleaner
Job Purpose
To maintain a clean, tidy, hygienic, and safe working environment throughout office premises, ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Clean and maintain offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, kitchens, toilets, and communal areas.
· Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows and glass where required.
· Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and correctly.
· Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, kitchens, and other frequently used areas.
· Replenish toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other cleaning supplies.
· Clean desks, tables, doors, handles, and other surfaces as required.
· Follow cleaning schedules and company procedures.
· Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
· Report any damage, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the appropriate person.
· Maintain a professional and respectful attitude while working around staff and visitors.
· Follow health and safety, COSHH, and workplace hygiene procedures.
Skills and Experience
· Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not always essential. Experience of using a small floor buffing machine preferred, again not essential as all training given.
· Good attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
· Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
· Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
· Physically able to carry out cleaning duties.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures.
· Professional and trustworthy, particularly when working around confidential office areas.
