Hygiene Operative – Bakery Warehouse

We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join a busy bakery warehouse in Buckingham.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment. You will be responsible for keeping the warehouse and surrounding areas clean and ensuring waste is dealt with efficiently.

🧹 Key Responsibilities:

Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
Clearing waste and maintaining clean working areas
Sweeping and squeegeeing floors
Cleaning warehouse areas and equipment as required
Supporting general hygiene and housekeeping duties
Moving flour and other materials around the warehouse
Carrying out manual handling tasks safely
Following all site hygiene, health & safety and food safety procedures
Working as part of a team to maintain high standards throughout the warehouse

👤 About You:

Previous cleaning, hygiene, warehouse or production experience is beneficial
Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
Able to work on your feet for the majority of the shift
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Reliable, hardworking and punctual
Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Previous experience within a food production or bakery environment would be advantageous, but is not essential
