Are you an organised Administrator with experience across fleet, accounts, facilities, maintenance or operational support?
We’re currently recruiting for a Fleet & Accounts Administrator to join a well-established organisation based in Kettering.
This is a varied role combining the day-to-day coordination of a company vehicle fleet with wider accounts and operational administration. You’ll help ensure vehicles remain maintained, compliant and operational, while also supporting the wider business with purchase orders, invoicing and general finance administration.
The role would suit somebody who is highly organised, confident using spreadsheets and internal systems, and comfortable liaising with drivers, suppliers and internal teams.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the general upkeep and administration of the company fleet, responding to day-to-day vehicle issues and ensuring important maintenance and compliance dates are effectively managed.
Key responsibilities will include:

Maintaining fleet spreadsheets and records, monitoring mileage, vehicle information, MOTs, servicing dates and fuel card usage

Coordinating scheduled and emergency vehicle maintenance, including servicing, repairs and temporary/hire vehicles

Managing vehicle-related administration including tracking systems, insurance claims, PCNs, travel cards and the set-up or sale of vehicles

Providing accounts support including purchase orders, invoicing assistance, debtor chasing and overtime checks

Maintaining internal trackers and liaising with drivers, suppliers and wider teams to resolve queries efficiently
About You
We’re looking for somebody with strong administration and organisational skills who is comfortable managing a varied workload and taking ownership of day-to-day issues.
Ideally, you’ll have:

Previous experience within fleet, accounts, facilities, maintenance or operational administration

Strong Excel, spreadsheet and general systems skills

Experience with purchase orders, invoicing or finance-related administration

Excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication skills
-
The ability to prioritise and work effectively within a busy, reactive environment
Previous experience with fleet systems, vehicle servicing, hire vehicles, insurance claims, fuel cards or PCNs would be advantageous, although candidates with relevant transferable experience will also be considered.
