T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client based in Castle Donington, for an Assembly Operative to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Assembly Operative Job Details and benefits;

Assembly Operative Responsibilities;

Assembling and packing products
-
Inform the Quality Control team when the first item or batch has been prepared and is ready for inspection.

Record the quantity of products assembled and the time taken, and report any differences or missing components identified on the BOM
-
Recording of non-value-added work on production sheets
-
Reporting to production and warehouse manager of any damaged components for write-off

Inform the Quality Control team of any products that need to be returned to the supplier

Maintain health and safety standards and good housekeeping within assembly area

Setting up the Clare tester to the correct position for the required test
-
Ensure correct labelling of products/components that are to be returned to stock

Carry out stock control checks when required

Complete any other reasonable tasks requested by your line management
Assembly Operative Person Specification;

Experience in assembling and packing products is essential

Ability to work aspart of a team as well as using own initiative

Motivated and reliable approach to work

Quality control/testing is desirable but not essential

Strong attention to detail
