About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Welfare Cleaner to join a construction project.
This is a hands-on role combining general labouring duties with responsibility for maintaining clean, safe and presentable welfare facilities on site. The successful candidate will be dependable, proactive and able to work safely as part of a busy construction team.
Key Responsibilities
Welfare Cleaning
Clean and maintain site welfare facilities, including toilets, canteen and welfare areas.
Regularly empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Ensure welfare areas are kept clean, hygienic and presentable throughout the working day.
Replenish basic welfare supplies when required.
Report any maintenance, cleaning or safety issues to the site supervisor. General Labouring
Assist tradespeople and site management with general labouring duties.
Loading, unloading and moving materials around site.
Keeping work areas, access routes and the wider site clean and tidy.
Assisting with deliveries and material storage.
Supporting site operatives with basic tasks as required.
Following all site health and safety procedures.
Carrying out other reasonable labouring duties as directed by the site management team. Requirements
Valid CSCS card – essential.
Previous construction site or labouring experience preferred.
Previous welfare/cleaning experience would be an advantage.
Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work.
Good attention to cleanliness and detail.
Professional and positive attitude. What We Offer
