Take on a long-term self-employed Multi-Trade Operative contract with an established insurance contractor, based around Peterborough and working on reinstatement and property repair projects following property damage claims. Travel is typically within 90 minutes of Peterborough, with most jobs expected to be considerably closer.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative who can work independently across residential properties and deliver a high standard of work. The role offers consistent insurance reinstatement work, weekly pay and mileage and travel payments.
I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Multi-Trade Operative, Multi-Trader, Property Maintenance Operative, Repairs Technician, General Builder, Property Repair Specialist, Flooring Operative, Plasterer or in a similar construction-related role.
As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will be:
Carrying out insurance reinstatement and property repair works.
Completing flooring repairs and installations.
Undertaking plastering and patch plastering.
Carrying out general multi-trade maintenance and repairs.
Restoring damaged residential properties to a high standard.

Strong multi-trade experience.
Experience in residential property repairs.
A full UK driving licence.
Their own van and tools.
The ability to work independently and manage jobs effectively.
The role is offering the following benefits:
Weekly pay, with CIS payments available.
45p per mile mileage allowance.
£25 per hour travel payment for travel exceeding 30 minutes.
Consistent insurance reinstatement work.
8-hour working days.
This role is offering around £205 per day, with mileage and additional travel payments available.
Location & travel
Based around Peterborough, this Multi-Trade Operative role will involve travelling to domestic properties across the surrounding areas, typically within 90 minutes of Peterborough.
