FLT / Labourer Job Description

Operating forklift trucks safely to load, unload and move materials around the warehouse or yard.

Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles.

Moving stock, pallets and materials to designated areas.

Carrying out general labouring duties, including manual handling and keeping work areas clean and organised.

Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch where required.

Checking deliveries and reporting damaged or missing items.
-
Following health and safety procedures and wearing the required PPE.

Assisting other warehouse, production or site staff as needed.

Carrying out routine checks on the FLT and reporting any faults.

Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient working environment.
-
Performing other reasonable duties as required by the supervisor or manager.
Key requirements:

Valid FLT licence/certificate.
-
Previous warehouse, yard or labouring experience preferred.
-
Good understanding of health and safety.
-
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
