Our client is looking for an experienced and professional Front of House Receptionist to join their busy Workplace Services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys being at the centre of a professional office environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace, delivering an exceptional experience for employees, visitors, and external partners.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing a varied workload while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming visitors and contractors and managing site access arrangements
Coordinating visitor registrations and access passes
Managing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services
Arranging business travel in line with company policies
Operating the office switchboard and handling general enquiries
Managing meeting room bookings and supporting meeting setup requirements
Providing hospitality support for meetings and events, including refreshments where required
Assisting with office events and workplace activities
Monitoring and replenishing office supplies and workplace provisions
Providing general administrative support across the business
Reporting and monitoring building maintenance issues
Liaising with building management and external service providers
Supporting workplace health, safety, and compliance activities
Assisting with document, archive, and records management
Providing occasional support to wider business support functions
Contributing to the smooth operation of workplace and facilities services
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a Reception, Front of House, Workplace Services, Facilities, or Office Support role
Outstanding customer service skills
A professional, friendly, and approachable manner
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail
A flexible and proactive approach to work
The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in a Front of House or Reception position within a professional office environment
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsProficient in:
