HR Administrator

Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
This varied role combines HR administration with executive support, providing assistance across the employee lifecycle while supporting a member of the senior leadership team with diary management and day-to-day administrative tasks. The role would suit an organised individual who enjoys a diverse workload and is confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your duties will include:

Supporting the administration of new employee onboarding and starter processes

Obtaining and processing employment references

Completing Right to Work checks and maintaining compliance records

Assisting with induction arrangements for new employees

Providing recruitment administration support throughout the hiring process

Tracking probation periods and coordinating review processes

Maintaining absence records and supporting attendance-related administration
-
Acting as a first point of contact for routine HR queries and employee requests

Updating employee information, including personal and payroll details

Processing employee changes, promotions, and leavers

Maintaining accurate HR records and employee documentation

Managing diaries and coordinating appointments

Organising meetings, preparing schedules, and arranging logistics as required

Providing administrative support, including correspondence and document preparation

Assisting the Director with day-to-day planning and organisational requirements
Skills and Experience
You will have previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or similar HR support position and be confident managing a varied workload within a busy environment. With excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, you will be able to prioritise tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems. You will be professional, approachable, and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
