Quarry Operative / Loading Shovel Operator – Bournemouth & Poole Area

Competitive salary: £34,000 per year (approx. £654 per week)

Set working hours: Monday to Friday 7am–5pm, plus alternate Saturdays 7am–12pm (as required)

Your role and responsibilities:

Operate and maintain quarry and processing plant equipment

Use mobile plant, including loading shovels, to feed the processing plant

Complete planned maintenance and housekeeping duties

Accurately operate the weighbridge

Uphold and promote company Health & Safety standards

Work flexibly and collaboratively within the team
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in quarry extraction or related industries

Mobile plant qualifications (loading shovel and LGV experience preferred)

Strong health and safety awareness

Motivated team player with excellent communication skills
