MLD Assistant - Wantage
Are you a Psychology or Education graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)?
A Secondary School in Wantage is seeking a dedicated and caring MLD Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, Teaching Assistants, or Teachers.
As an MLD Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to students with Moderate Learning Difficulties.
Help students develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and active participation in learning.
Work alongside teachers and support staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Observe and monitor students' progress, wellbeing, and engagement throughout the school day.We're looking for an MLD Assistant who is:
