Machine Operative – 6 Month Contract
Location: Bingley
Contract: 6 months
Hours: Monday to Thursady 7pm to 5am
Pay Rate: £17.50
About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Machine Operative to join their team in Bingley on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience within belting, printing, flexible packaging, flooring manufacture, or a similar manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently

Setting and adjusting machinery to meet production requirements

Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process

Following production specifications and health & safety procedures

Identifying and reporting any machine faults or quality issues

Carrying out basic checks and adjustments as required

Working as part of a busy production team to achieve daily targets

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment

Experience in belting, printing, flexible packaging, flooring manufacture, or a related industry

Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality

A reliable and positive approach to work

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence – essential

Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
