Part time receptionist - temporary position with the possibility to go permanent
£12.71 per hour, 20-25 hours per week
AM Shift: 8:00am - 1:15pm / PM Shift: 1:30pm - 6:30pm

Are you an organised, friendly and professional individual with previous reception or administration experience? We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Receptionist to join a busy and welcoming GP practice based in Gloucester.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team within a highly respected healthcare environment, with the possibility of securing a permanent position.
About the Role
Working as part of a reception team of approximately five people, you will be supporting a busy GP surgery serving around 5,000 patients. This is a varied role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Registering and maintaining new patient records
Opening, sorting and distributing incoming post
Managing telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriately
Providing general administrative support to the practice team
Ensuring patient information is handled confidentially and accurately
The Ideal Candidate
Previous reception or administration experience is essential
Confident using computers and learning new systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Friendly, approachable and professional manner
Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
