Support Worker / Care Assistant – Leicester
Location: Leicester, LE4
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Shifts: Days and nights
Brookes HC Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Support Workers and Care Assistants for a residential care service in Leicester.
This is a full-time opportunity for compassionate, reliable people who can provide person-centred support and contribute positively to the lives of those using the service.
Shift pattern
Applicants must be flexible to work both day and night shifts:

Days: 7:45am–8:15pm

Nights: 7:45pm–8:15am

Responsibilities

Supporting people with their daily routines

Providing respectful personal care when required

Promoting independence, dignity and choice

Supporting emotional and social wellbeing

Following individual care plans

Maintaining accurate records

Working closely with colleagues to provide safe, consistent care

Following safeguarding, health and safety and medication procedures
Requirements
-
Previous care or support work experience is preferred but not essential

A compassionate and respectful approach

Good communication and teamwork skills

Reliability and flexibility

Willingness to complete all required training and pre-employment checks

Availability to work both days and nights

An existing right to work in the UK
