📍 Location: Various Schools Across Cardiff

🕒 Hours: 3 to 4 hours per day, between 10:00am and 2:00pm

📅 Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

💷 Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

We are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistants to work in schools across Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking part-time, term-time work with family-friendly hours and school holidays off.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support school catering teams in preparing and serving nutritious meals to pupils while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with food preparation and meal service Serving meals to pupils and staff Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and organised Supporting the catering team during busy lunch periods

Essential Requirements

✅ Enhanced DBS Certificate

✅ Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate

✅ Reliable and punctual

✅ Positive attitude and strong work ethic

✅ Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable

Previous kitchen, catering, or hospitality experience Experience working within a school environment

What We Offer

✅ £13.45 per hour

✅ 3 to 4-hour shifts between 10:00am and 2:00pm
