Warehouse Controller (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 pro rata
Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)
Contract: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Controller to join a well-established and growing organisation within a busy Supply Chain function.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain coordination who enjoys working closely with third-party logistics providers, managing operational performance, and driving process improvements.
You'll play a key role in ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently, inventory is accurately managed, and internal stakeholders receive the information and support they need to keep the business moving.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day relationship with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
Act as the main point of contact for warehouse operations across the business
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective actions
Review inbound and outbound warehouse forecasts
Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance
Ensure accurate data management within SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Generate and distribute operational reports and KPI information
Support inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation activities
Monitor outbound deliveries and transport performance
Maintain export documentation and shipping records
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Support continuous improvement projects and wider Supply Chain initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 3 years' experience in a warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain position
Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
Strong working knowledge of SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
Desirable Experience
FMCG industry experience
Experience across broader Supply Chain functions
Knowledge of production planning systems such as OMP
