Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical-surgical settings and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, communicating any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to provide care to children, including toddlers, in a compassionate manner
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques
- Familiarity with dermal fillers and gastric lavage procedures is a plus
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities is beneficial
