Financial Controller

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a qualified Controller to join our team.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Manage and develop the accounting team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources.
Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in accounting and financial management.
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller role or similar accounting leadership position.
Proven experience in overseeing all aspects of the accounting cycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in accounting software.
Experience in the building service contractor industry a plus.
Must pass criminal background check.
