*Employment Type:*
Full time, night shift, rotating weekends
*Position Summary*:
* Under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor or the Laboratory Manager, performs a variety of clinical laboratory procedures and related duties in one or more laboratory sections following established procedures and protocols, which are used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
* May rotate in sections including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, cytology, histology and/or transfusion services.
* May have frequent contact with laboratory personnel, hospital employees, physicians, pathologists, nursing personnel, visitors, laboratory personnel, vendors, and regulatory or accrediting agencies.
*Education Requirements*:
* B.S. Degree in Medical Technology, Biology or related field
* Licensed by New York State Department of Education to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or ASCP certification and application for licensure submitted to New York State
*Experience Requirements*:
* Demonstrated ability and familiarity with related technology.
*Compensation:*
* $32.60 - $43.45 per hour
* Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
