Since 1987, Perinatal Associates of New Mexico (PANM) has provided the best high-risk pregnancy care in the Southwest in a comfortable, soothing environment. Our expert staff is devoted to treating each patient and her family with dignity, respect, and compassion. We have grown to thirteen (13) locations throughout the state to better serve our population. We are looking to add *two (2) sonographers/ultrasound technicians* to our Albuquerque office. The ideal candidates are willing to travel to our clinics in Los Alamos, Espanola, and Santa Fe. These positions are 32-40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) every week. We will provide extensive specialized training. Starting hourly rate is $33 for recent graduates with ARDMS-OBGYN certification and increases with experience and other credentials. All applicants must have OBGYN credential from ARDMS. Those who also have, or are willing to obtain, FE credential from ARDMS are preferred.
*Sonographers/ultrasound technicians *provide evaluation through high-risk ultrasound exams according to protocols and AIUM regulations. Interprets and documents the procedure. Gives report of findings and pathology for US performed to the provider seeing the patient and referring OB provider as needed. Advise on scheduling the patient for follow-ups necessary. *Sonographers* follow and maintain accurate billing and coding policies. Provides services in caring, empathetic, professional, ethical and legal manner with a team approach.
