*To prosper as a Dental Assistant, you should have: *
* At least 1 year of continuous experience
* Dental Assistant Certification or Associate’s degree in Dental Assisting program
* Stellar verbal and written communication skills
* X-ray certification
*More about your role as a Dental Assistant:*
* Prepare patients for dental work
* Sterilize and disinfect instruments, setting up trays
* including fillings, cleanings, root canals, extractions, crown and bridge work, dental implants, etc.
* Collect and record medical and dental history
