Your Role As a Tech Builder:*
* *You’ll participate in classes and labs**. *When you join Tech Builder, you’ll have some time in the classroom, time in our state-of-the-art lab, and time riding along with current technicians to actual appointments.
* *You’ll go from no HVAC experience to HVAC pro!* Our Tech Builder trainees come from all kinds of backgrounds. Your background is part of who you are today, but it doesn’t have to dictate who you’re gonna be tomorrow. If you wanna be an HVAC technician, put in the effort and we can help you become one of the best!
* *You’ll graduate and become a full-time Maintenance Technician.*
* *You’ll make good money.* Morris-Jenkins offers compensation far beyond most other companies. After you graduate from class, we’ll give you a raise! Many of our Tech Builder graduates are now making *_more than $100k a year._*
Responsibilities:*Some highlights about this career opportunity:*
* You’ll train for about _10 weeks_ with some of the best teachers and equipment around, and when you pass the class, you’ll be hired on as a full-time HVAC technician! Oh, and did we mention? *It’s paid training! ($18/Hr)*

Physical Demands: _*_While performing the duties of this job, the person is frequently required to move about within customers’ homes inside tight crawlspaces and ascend/descend ladders lifting one’s own bodyweight through narrow entrances into attics. Must be able to identify and inspect equipment, parts, and colored wiring to safely test, repair, and install electrical connections with precise hand-eye motor skills._
*_Mental Demands: _*_Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations. Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. Conscious attention to detail is required to safely perform tasks._
*_Work Environment: _*_Frequently requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and other hazards such as electrical shock, toxic fumes, caustic chemicals, UV light, sharp objects, venomous animals, etc., which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed by company policy._
