A fantastic school in Headington is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and resilient Classroom Support Assistant to join their team and support students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, learning difficulties and behavioural needs.
What will you be doing?
No two days will be the same! As a Classroom Support Assistant, you'll work closely with students in the classroom, helping them feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
You'll be there to:
Support students with their learning and day-to-day activities
Encourage communication, confidence and independence
Help students overcome barriers to learning
Make lessons fun, engaging and accessible
Celebrate students' progress - both the big milestones and the little wins!
Help monitor and record students' development and progressMost importantly, you'll be someone who can see the individual behind the needs and understand that every student learns and communicates in their own way.
