We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Trades Person with proven experience in the social housing sector. The ideal candidate will be an expert in one core trade — Must be very competent in Carpentry and plumbing — while also possessing hands-on skills in at least one additional trade, making them a reliable all-rounder capable of delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment works in social housing properties.

Deliver high-quality workmanship across your primary trade (Plumbing, Joinery).

Undertake secondary trade tasks such as plastering, tiling, painting, decorating.

Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.

Ensure all works comply with current building regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Provide excellent customer service, liaising with tenants and housing officers in a professional manner.

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and performance targets.

Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order.
Qualifications & Skills

NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Plumbing or Joinery.

Demonstrable experience in social housing repairs and maintenance beneficial.

Hands-on ability in at least one additional trade (e.g., plastering, tiling, decorating, basic electrics).

Strong knowledge of health and safety practices, including risk assessments.

Clean UK driving licence. Company van and Fuel card provided

Clean DBS check.
