Production Housekeeping Operative
Location: Chadderton
Hours: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 10:00am-6:00pm
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Chadderton, is looking for a reliable and proactive Production Housekeeping Operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role supporting the cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency of a busy production environment.
You will play an important part in maintaining high housekeeping standards across the site while supporting production teams where required.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the production area
Carry out daily sweeping and cleaning of corridors, stairs, and workspaces
Empty waste bins and ensure correct segregation of recyclable waste streams
Operate the waste baling machine and move/store bales safely
Use the ride-on/driven floor cleaning machine and maintain usage records
Support production teams with general duties when required
Ensure cleaning equipment is well maintained and stored correctly
Complete weekly cleaning checklists and ad hoc housekeeping tasks
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies at all timesSkills & Experience
Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Flexible, dependable, and able to work independently
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Proactive and self-motivated approach to work
Comfortable carrying out physical housekeeping duties in a busy factory settingWorking Hours
Monday to Friday
10:00am - 6:00pm
