We’re looking for an experienced Class 2 Refuse Driver / HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team.

The Role – Class 2 Refuse Driver

Driving a Class 2 HGV refuse collection vehicle

Completing refuse, waste and recycling collections

Working as part of a refuse and waste collection team
-
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy

Following health and safety procedures

Providing reliable holiday cover
-
Working outdoors and completing physical duties when required
You’ll Need
-
A valid Class 2 (C+E) HGV licence
-
Valid Driver CPC
-
Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho)

Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience

Previous refuse, waste management or recycling collection experience is an advantage

Good timekeeping and a reliable attitude

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

A good understanding of safe working practices
