Laminator Operative – Print Department
We are currently recruiting for a Laminator Operative to join a busy Print Department within a leading book manufacturing company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring laminating machinery used in the production of books. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that would suit someone with previous experience working within a print, production or manufacturing environment, particularly someone who has operated machinery.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating and monitoring laminating machinery

Setting up and running machinery to meet production requirements

Monitoring the production process and ensuring machines are running correctly

Carrying out regular quality checks on finished products

Identifying and reporting any issues with machinery or production

Ensuring products meet the required quality standards

Working to production targets and deadlines

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
About You:

Previous experience within a print, production or manufacturing environment

Experience operating production machinery is highly desirable

Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time

Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn

Previous laminator experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided to the right candidate
Shift Pattern:
This is a 12-hour shift role, so candidates must be comfortable working long shifts and being on their feet for extended periods.
