Production Operative
£12.71 per hour | Temp to Perm | Immediate Starts Available
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with a company that values commitment, reliability and a willingness to learn.
Previous production experience is preferred; however, our client is also willing to train the right person. If you are mechanically minded, eager to develop new skills and looking for a career rather than just another job, we'd love to hear from you.
Duties will include:
Operating and monitoring production machinery
Assisting with machine set-up and adjustments
Quality checking finished products
Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure
Packing and preparing products for dispatch
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following health and safety procedures at all times
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous production, manufacturing or machine operating experience (preferred)
Be mechanically minded and keen to learn
Be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
Have a good eye for detail and quality
Be reliable, hardworking and committed to developing their skills
Be looking for a long-term opportunity and career progression
Be flexible with working hours and shifts
Shifts
Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work all of the following shifts as required:
6:00am - 2:00pm
2:00pm - 10:00pm
8:00am - 4:30pmAdditional night shift opportunities may occasionally arise, but these are recruited separately.
