We are currently recruiting Production / Assembly Operativee on behalf a market-leading manufacturer based in Braintree.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing manufacturing business on an ongoing temporary basis. You'll be working on a fixed early shift within a modern production environment, assembling high-quality products using a range of hand and power tools.
This role would suit candidates with previous manufacturing, production or assembly experience who are looking for ongoing, stable work with opportunities for overtime.
Duties of Production / Assembly Operative will include:
Assembling products using hand and power tools
Measuring and cutting materials to specification
Carrying out heavy assembly work
Working on a busy production line
Completing quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience within a manufacturing and production or assembly environment
Experience using hand and power tools
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
The ability to complete heavy manual handling throughout the shift
A reliable and positive attitude towards work
Availability to work a fixed Monday to Friday early shift
What's on offer:
£14.12 per hour
Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
