We are recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a fantastic client of ours within the retail industry.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work, has excellent attention to detail and would like to learn a specialist skill within an established and supportive team.
The right attitude, good dexterity and a willingness to learn are key. Full training will be provided.
The Role:
Working as part of the assembly team, you will be responsible for helping to build and prepare high-quality equipment to the required specifications.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Assembling and building items to individual specifications
Working with small components, tools and specialist equipment
Measuring, fitting and preparing different components accurately
Carrying out careful, detailed assembly work
Checking finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Following build instructions and specifications
Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe
Working closely with the wider team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
Learning different aspects of the building process as your experience developsWhat We are Looking For:

Dexterous and good with their hands – this role involves detailed, precise assembly work
Able to work accurately and pay close attention to detail
Practical and comfortable using tools
Patient and able to concentrate on repetitive or intricate tasks
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Keen to learn and develop new skills
A good team player with a positive attitude
Able to follow instructions and work to set specifications
Quality-focused and takes pride in their workPrevious assembly, production, manufacturing, workshop or hands-on experience is essential.
