*Basic Responsibilities:*
Assess deep wounds, skin tears, ostomies, severe burns pressure injuries and diabetic wounds.
*Knowledge and Skills*
* Strong leadership skills, effective communication and ability to develop interpersonal relationships with residents, families and staff
* Considerable knowledge and application of nursing principles and practices
* Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports
*Minimum Education and Experience*
* Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse License in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
* Wound Care Certification preferred
* Experience in a long-term health care setting preferred
