We are currently recruiting for 6 experienced General Operatives (Civils) to join a major London Power Tunnels underground substation project.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-profile UK infrastructure project, with immediate starts available for suitably qualified and experienced operatives.
🔧 The Role
As a General Operative, you will support the civils team with a range of duties on a busy underground substation project, including:

Supporting general civils and construction activities

Carrying out general site duties as directed by the Site Management Team

Working safely and effectively within confined-space environments
-
Assisting trades and other site teams as required
-
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and housekeeping
-
Following all site rules, procedures and health & safety requirements
-
Working effectively as part of a busy site team
✅ Essential Requirements

National Grid Persons (Substation) Certification
-
Valid Confined Spaces Ticket
-
Previous relevant civils / construction experience

Good understanding of site health & safety requirements

Reliable and professional approach to work

Available to start immediately
