As a Goods In & Production Support Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by managing incoming deliveries, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting the production team with components and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, check and inspect all incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality
Read and interpret engineering drawings and part lists to verify components
Book stock into the system against purchase orders with precision
Maintain accurate stock records and organise stores efficiently
Pick parts and prepare kit lists for the production team
Support machine builders by providing components and materials as needed
Assist with basic mechanical assemblies when required
Identify and report shortages, damaged goods or discrepancies promptly
Collaborate closely with engineering, production and purchasing teams

Who they're looking for:

Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or technical stores environment
Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings or technical part information
Strong IT skills and comfort using stock control or ERP systems
Organised and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, reliable and a strong team player
