HR Administrator – Thornbury (BS35)
£15.13 per hour | Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a HR Administrator to join a globally recognised manufacturer based in Thornbury. The Role
Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across all areas of HR. This is a varied role where organisation, attention to detail and confidentiality are key.
Key Responsibilities
Providing administrative support to the HR Business Partner and wider HR team
Preparing contracts, letters and HR documentation
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
Supporting the onboarding and induction process for new starters
Assisting with probation reviews, employment changes and leaver administration
Coordinating meetings, interviews and HR appointments
Processing HR paperwork accurately and within deadlines
Supporting recruitment administration, including arranging interviews and liaising with candidates
Assisting with absence management, training records and general HR reporting
Ensuring all HR information is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR
What We're Looking For
Previous administration experience, ideally within an HR environment
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
A proactive and professional approach with a willingness to learn
Previous experience using HR systems would be advantageous but is not essential
