Temp to Permanent Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Carpenter / Multi-Trade Operative to join a busy property maintenance team working across residential properties in the Redditch area. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to become permanent.
Location: Redditch, B98 7SN
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (37 hours per week)
Contract: 10 August 2026 – 10 November 2026
Pay: £16.62 per hour PAYE
Vehicle: Company vehicle provided for work use only.
The Role
You will be carrying out a range of carpentry and maintenance works on residential properties, including:
1st and 2nd fix carpentry
Repairs and maintenance to occupied and void properties
Fitting doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves and kitchens
General multi-trade repairs where required
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
The successful candidate will work as part of a responsive repairs and maintenance service, taking ownership of repairs and delivering excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
Multi-trade experience is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Good understanding of health and safety
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
Full UK driving licence
Applicants should have relevant trade experience and be confident carrying out repairs with minimal supervision.
