Working Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week, 75% FTE
Salary Placement: 46.000 to 72.000 EUR at 100% FTE (dependent on years of experience)
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young people in your care and adhere to the school's Child Protection policies
- To coordinate, implement and develop the Co-Curricular Activities Programme ensuring all core activities are offered annually and are complemented with a broad and balanced array of other arts, STEM and creative opportunities
- To organize activity sessions that are valuable, productive, uphold the school philosophy
- To oversee the Activities section of the school website and social media presence related to the Activities Programme
- To arrange events with other local German and international schools for activities such as MUN, Math Teams, Coding, Sustainability and Creative Arts
- To work closely with the section leadership, counsellors and other coordinators to align and develop all aspects of Co-Curricular Activities
- To manage the Co-Curricular Activities budget to ensure that funds are appropriately accounted for and carrying out all activities related to billing tasks in cooperation with the Business Office
- To encourage an atmosphere of involvement in Co-Curricular activities within the school and develop a strong feeling of school spirit within the BIS Community
- To produce regular information and schedules for students, parents and staff
- To manage bookings of all aspects of Co-Curricular Activity trips for students, activity leaders and chaperones
- To work closely with the accounting office to create timely invoicing data and prepare detailed cost analysis of school trips
- University degree preferably in Education or Administration
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in educational or social leadership
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German language skills are desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- 30 days of paid leave
- Paid leave in the week between Christmas Eve to New Year's Day
