Payroll Administrator
Our clients are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our payroll team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate end-to-end payroll services for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation and payroll regulations while providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payrolls for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Maintain employee payroll records and manage data securely in line with data protection requirements.
Complete RTI submissions, pension uploads, CIS submissions, and produce payroll reports for clients and third parties.
Prepare payslips, year-end documentation, month-end journals, and audit reports.
Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, pension auto-enrolment requirements, and company policies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear guidance and resolving payroll queries efficiently.
Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all payroll activities.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience processing payrolls for multiple clients, ideally within an accountancy practice or professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, pension auto-enrolment, and CIS.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office; experience with BrightPay is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
High level of confidentiality and understanding of data protection requirements.
