Salary: Leadership Scale L[XX-XX] (Dependent on Experience)
Contract: Full TimE long term - Perm for right candidate

The Role
As Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in supporting whole-school improvement, driving high-quality teaching and learning, and ensuring our pupils receive the exceptional education and care they deserve.
You will:
Support the strategic leadership and development of the school.
Lead on key areas of school improvement and curriculum development.
Promote excellence in teaching, learning, behaviour and pupil progress.
Support and develop staff through coaching, mentoring and professional development.
Champion inclusive practice and ensure the highest standards of SEND provision.
Build strong partnerships with families, external agencies and professionals.
Contribute to safeguarding and the wellbeing of all pupils and staff.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
Essential Requirements
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo one)
✅ Proven leadership experience within a SEND or specialist educational setting
✅ Strong understanding of SEND legislation, EHCPs and inclusive educational practice
✅ Experience supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication and learning difficulties
✅ A track record of raising standards and improving outcomes for pupils
✅ Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
✅ A commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusion
✅ The passion, resilience and vision to inspire others
