We are looking for a Assembler to work in a busy manufacturing environment at our Basildon site

Purpose of role and key accountabilities:
To carry out assembly of aircraft components to customer defined specification and standard.
Core skills/attributes needed:

Ability to work on assembly of new parts with solid rivets using hand & air riveting tools & other equipment for the purpose required.

Visual inspection of completed products

Full knowledge and experience of using Vernier’s and other specialist measuring tools • Experience of working to adjust sheet metal parts for assembly

Current experience of the use of air tools i.e. drills / rivet press / rivet guns

Experience of using sealants

Engineering background ideally in aerospace industry

Experience of reading, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Experience of working with a number of different materials and finishes

Attention to detail

Problem solving skills

Utilising a range of hand tools

Finish precision engineering products
