Warehouse Operatives
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our clients team based in Rotherham. This is a manual, hands-on role supporting the efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods over 2 sites, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and housekeeping.
🔹 The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

Safely operating a forklift truck and VNA truck in a busy warehouse environment

Consolidating and preparing customer orders accurately

Palletising, banding, and moving stock into racking

Safe loading and unloading of HGV deliveries and containers

Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards in the warehouse
🔹 About You

A current Forklift & VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) truck licence

Previous experience in a warehouse environment

Sufficient physical fitness to undertake manual handling tasks

Strong accuracy and numeracy skills for order handling

Awareness of Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices

Reliability, good timekeeping, and a proactive approach to work

Strong communication and teamwork skills

The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

Willingness to develop new skills and take on additional responsibilities

🔹 Pay Rates as a Warehouse Operative
- Starting at £12.71 per hour – Rising to £13.58 after training (approx 4 weeks)
